Pewter was the popular tableware for over 100 years and should be featured if you are furnishing a miniature room of the 1750-1850 era . . . be it a kitchen, dining room, or tavern. Jim Ison, I.G.M.A. Fellow, has reproduced over forty of the most common items in precise one-inch scale. All are copies of actual pieces in museums and private collections. After creating master patterns in brass, molds were made and each part cast in the finest lead-free pewter alloy. Each piece is then hand polished, assembled as necessary and given a light patina finish. Coffee pots, tankards, etc., are hollow and lids are removable.
