Use this lead tape to create stained glass or leaded glass windows for your dollhouse or miniature setting. Sold in 18-inch lengths of 1/2-inch wide material with a self adhesive back. Cut the tape in approximately 1/16-inch wide strips. Using a copy machine, create and print the image or pane framing you want for your window, then tape the pattern to one side of the glass or plexiglass. Outline the image with the tape on the glass. Then using glass paint fill in the areas with the colors of your choice. Consider using clear paint for an antique glass look. Use a burnishing tool to rub down the tape for the look you wish to achieve. Keep in mind that once the glass is treated with the tape and paint, it will no longer slide into the frame so consider placing the plexiglass into its finished frame before creating the stained glass or leaded glass look.
