The Darlington is another uniquely designed 1:12 (one-inch) scale shell dollhouse by Majestic Mansions. The interior is designed to be a hotel, department store or grand home. The Darlington features: Dual side access with dado locators for easy assembly. This is a large dollhouse house with big rooms. The finished house has 17 large rooms and measures 25-inches Wide, 29-inches deep and 48-inches high. The kit comes with interior and exterior steps, two hotel signs, corner quoins and exterior front molding. The kit is cut from cabinet grade 3/8-inch Baltic birch plywood. It is a versatile kit. As a hotel the first floor could be the reception area with gentlemen's lounge and office. The second floor could consist of a restaurant, gift shop, bar and another shop. Hotel rooms could be located on the third floor, while the fourth floor could be a penthouse suite. Pictures of a finished hotel are shown to give you ideas.
